1) Install Redhat Linux 5.3 Enterprise Version.
2) Create Normal user say "user1".
3) Upgrade the flex version by following below steps
a) login through root user
b) copy the flex in /root/flex folder
c) install flex by using the below command
# rpm -Uvh flex-2.5.35.1.i386.rpm
4) install wine by following below steps
a) login through normal user say "user1"
b) copy the wine file "wine-1.1.39.tar.bz2 in "/home/user1" folder
c) $ tar -xvf wine-1.1.39.tar.bz2
d) $ cd wine1.1.39
e) $ ./tools/wineinstall
f) While installing it will ask "Whether Wine has to be installed or build" Yes/No
Type "yes" and press enter
g) It will take very long time for buiding - after building - it will ask root password for installing. Please provide root password for installation.
h) Now wine will be installed successfully.
5) Install msjava by following the below steps
a) login through normal user say "user1"
b) copy msjavax86.exe in "/home/user1" folder
c) $ wine msjavax86.exe
d) restart system
6) Install Visual Studio 6 by following below steps
a) Login through normal user say "user1"
b) copy the entire contents from VB-Cd to "/home/user1/vb6" folder
c) $ cd vb6
d) $ wine setup.exe
7) Install Windows-Payroll-version-8.1 in Linux
a) Login through normal user say "user1"
b) copy the payroll-ver-8.1 sw in "/home/user1/pay81" folder
c) $ cd pay81
d) $ wine setup.exe
e) $ copy hard copy of already installed version of files with data from old machine to "/home/user1/payroll81" folder
8) How to use Payroll sw in Linux
a) Login through normal user say "user1"
b) $ cd payroll81
c) $ wine tnspay81.exe
9) How to take printout of payslip etc. If you face page break problem?
a) Open the *.txt file in "OpenOffice writer" then print from there.

Steps.
- Connect the printer in Thin Client . (SYSTEM -1 Thin Client -1 IP- 192.168.26.36)
- In Slim Client goto -> System -> Admin->Printing
- Click new printer
- give printer name ( DMPfromThinClient-1)
- In select Connection Select AppSocket/HPJetDirect
- Assign Host name . Your Thin client’s IPAddress . (192.168.26.36)
- Select Printer as EPSON for DMP printer
- select model as 24 pin series CUPS v1.2 for DMP
- make default
Now printing Option
- Now you can give print from slim to Thin client
- It will display the thin client printer name. Select and give print. ( DMPfromThinClient-1
1. Same as from another Thin Client-2.
2. In printing option it will show the printer connected in THIN client-1 .
( DMPfromThinClient-1)
- Here Slim client is acting as server. So it should be ON.
I tried directly from thin client -1 to thin -2 it worked fine but today it making problem.. I try and tell you soon….
Opening the Word, Excel and Pdf files by double clicking in Thin client machine
- In thin client machine we can’t able to open the .odt file directly by double clicking using mouse.
2.just right click on the file àgoto propertiesà addà browse à choose Program Chooserà Click addà and close propery window…. Now you can able to open the file by double clicking
Pen Drive Removing
In Thin Client click on the icon like leg in the right bottom of the task bar and mark the unplug and click ok.
In Slim client just right click on the pen drive and unmount it.

Creating user in the Slim Client
If you create a user in the slim client and restart the system it will directly go to the root only without asking the user name and password. Do show the log in screen.
SYSTEM à Administration à Login Screen à Security à Click on the Enable Automatic Login and take the Marked (make it as disabled)
Thin client
Copying from pen drive to system Or system to pen drive.
Application à File browserà Click Storage à Usb à pen driveà Copy file à Click Homeà Paste where ever you want.
Thin Client - Tamil same as the type writing machine.
Open the Open office Word à Press Ctrl + Shift à Now you will be able to see one small screen appearing above the right side of the Task bar (above the clock) à click in middle of that and à click Tamil à Remington à Now type it will be same as the type writing machine.

•National Policy and action plan for implementation of ICT in Indian Judiciary
formulated by e-Committee
•700 courts in Metro cities covered.
•900 Courts in capital cities barring North- East, Ahmedabad, Patna covered.
•Cabinet has approved the scheme for covering 2100 court complexes:
approved Rs. 442 crore to be completed in 2 years.
•NIC to implement project under overall guidance of e-Committee.
The Indian judiciary comprises of nearly 15,000 courts situated in approximately 2,500 court complexes throughout the country. In the Indian Judiciary, effort for computerization of some of its processes has been going on since 1990. From 2001-03, 700 city courts in four metros were computerised and during 2003-04, computerisation of another 900 courts were undertaken.
A need was felt to make the programme of ICT enablement of the Indian Judiciary mission-critical. Under NeGP as a Mission Mode Project, it is proposed to implement ICT in Indian judiciary in three phases over a period of five years. The project scope is to develop, deliver, install and implement automated decision making and decision support system in 700 courts of Delhi, Bombay, Kolkata & Chennai; 900 courts in the 29 capital city courts of states and UTs and 13000 district and subordinate courts. The objectives of the project are:
•To help judicial administration of the courts in streamlining their day-to-day
activities
•To assist judicial administration in reducing the pendency of cases
•To provide transparency of information to the litigants
•To provide access to legal and judicial databases to the judges.
